In some engineering problems, an impact analysis and structural capacity to impact load needs to be assessed. We can provide this service.
Resistance to impact loads is usually assessed to ensure a structure has sufficient resistance to design impact loads and will not collapse under extreme loads. An example of such scenarios is jacket-boat impact analysis to ensure the jacket has sufficient capacity against design impact energy. At Zentech we have established numerical procedures to accurately carry out transient dynamic analysis for computation of structural response due to impact loading.
