Fatigue crack growth in a stiffened panel
This example shows the growth of a crack in a stiffened panel. The model is a symmetry model in which the crack face is highlighted in red on the symmetry plane. The analysis is in three phases:
- growth to the stiffener
- growth through the stiffener / panel intersection
- growth of two cracks in the panel and stiffener.
