1. The evaluation version contains all functionality of the full system with the following restrictions:

• only the supplied models can be run
• the GUI allows use of all options other than the ability to save input data and run models other than the supplied files
• Zencrack user subroutines are not allowed

2. Fortran version:

• The evaluation version does not allow use of user subroutines, there is no requirement to have a Fortran compiler installed to run the evaluation version. Use the "No compiler" option during the installation process.

3. To perform analysis of the supplied models either Abaqus, Ansys or Simcenter Nastran must be available on the machine on which the Zencrack evaluation is installed.

4. Ansys users:

• Zencrack executes Ansys using the default Ansys product. If you have not made any special settings in your Ansys setup, this is Ansys/Mechanical. If you have specified a value for the ANSYSxx_PRODUCT environment variable, then that defines the default product.
• If you wish to force the use of a particular Ansys product with Zencrack, it is necessary to change a setting in the zencrack.ini file (located in the Zencrack "tools" directory). Refer to the item ZCR_ANSYS_OPTIONS in section 4.1.2 of the Installation And Execution Manual.

5. Downloadable .exe files such as Zencrack installer files are "signed" and show the publisher as Zentech International Limited. If you experience issues with messages from your browser or have any doubts about the download process, please refer to the download help page.
