The following bugs are fixed in this release:

ZENCR478Zero values to locate the maximum and minimum position of a cycle may be returned from a rainflow count if there are exactly 3 reversals.
ZENCR477Crack growth integration using the numerical scheme is incorrect for load time history combinations.
ZENCR476[Abaqus interface] If an Abaqus uncracked mesh contains a *CONTOUR INTEGRAL keyword in step 2 or later it is not removed when the cracked mesh is generated.
ZENCR475Utility function utility_da_modify does not always set the step size as expected.
ZENCR474Possible errors in output from the rainflow utility if first pass through the reversals list does not identify any cycles.

Windows

32bit Windows:

Zencrack 8.0-1 is available for x86-32 and x86-64 machines running 32bit Windows e.g. 7 / 8 / 10.

This release requires Intel Fortran Version 11.1 or later to use Zencrack user subroutines. (Version 11.1 is recommended).

64bit Windows:

Zencrack 8.0-1 is available for x86-64 machines running 64bit Windows e.g. Windows 64bit 7 / 8 / 10.

This release requires Intel Fortran Version 11.1 or later to use Zencrack user subroutines. (Version 11.1 is recommended).

Note:

  • For Windows 8, the program and documentation installers will create entries in the "All Apps" page that would normally appear in the Start Menu on Windows 7. The "Zencrack command prompt" and "Zencrack GUI" can be pinned to the Taskbar. All items can be pinned to the "Start" page. If you choose the option during installation, shortcuts for the command prompt and GUI are placed on the desktop in the normal way.
  • If your PDF reader application does not support the use of cross-document links you may prefer to install and use an alternative such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or the lightweight open source Sumatra.

Linux

Zencrack 8.0-x is available for x86-64 machines running 64bit Linux.

This release requires Intel Fortran Version 11.1 or later to use Zencrack user subroutines. (Version 11.1 is recommended).

Extensive testing has taken place using SuSe Linux Enterprise Desktop 10.

The Zencrack GUI is not supported on Linux platforms.

License server

The license server installation is available for 32bit and 64bit Windows or 64bit Linux machines.

For license server installations the client machines do not have to match the license server machine type.
